As of now (10:15am), it is 83 degrees outside under overcast skies. The mercury is supposed to top out at around 100 again today.
Inside our AC-deprived house, fans are whirring and the temp is 82 degrees. We are thinkin’ we should’ve stayed up in the 70 degree San Juan Islands an extra day.

Mary and I just got home after a 5 day trip to the San Juans. We’ve spent most of the last 12 hours today sitting on a ferry, fuming in traffic jams and rocketing down Interstate 5.
