It’s 51.4 degrees F where I’m sitting now. Inside. It got down to 30 degrees outside last night.
Obviously in our best interest, our oil furnace died last night. Friday night. It didn’t go without first mocking us in the form of 2 minute bursts of operation, resulting in no hot air.
A quick trip to borrow a couple of space heaters from Mary’s mom and dad kept us from freezing totally last night, but here I sit in the second bedroom bundled up as if I’m out camping.
The rest of the house is warmer, but not room temperature. I’m not using the laptop in the living room because I’ve already tripped two breakers this morning and my battery is low. Hopefully my PC and my body heat can warm up this bedroom.
A call has been made and a technician is on the way.. for a hefty “Saturday price” … but without many options, the price of warmth has just gone up.

OK…SOMEONE has to say it. Wouldn’t “room temperature” be whatever temperature the room was at the time?
HA! Been there, done that. It sucks.
