How was your Easter? Do anything?
I began the day watching the plump spring rain drops fall, while Mary leafed through our newly arrived copy of “Consumer Reports Best Baby Products Guide”. Following that, we went up to my folks’ place to eat BBQ ribs. Oh, while there I saved a wild baby rabbit from the claws of my parents’ (formerly my) cat/huntress Tabitha. It was un-harmed, thankfully. Tonight we went to Mary’s mom and dad’s place for dinner.
Neither Mary or I are that religious, at least by the “do you attend church?” scale.
I was raised in a Catholic home, attending CCD, (Catholic Sunday school, only it was held on Wednesdays at my church), until 7th grade. I rarely missed Mass until I entered college, and then I stopped going regularly. I have no personal animosity or grudge towards the Catholic church, it’s just that I stopped going to Mass.
Mary’s family is pretty non-religious. Her family does practice some Buddhist rituals, but they don’t go to temple.
